GUWAHATI, Oct 8: India and Australia landed here on Sunday afternoon for the second T20 of the three-match series. The game will be held at Assam Cricket Association stadium, Barsapara on Tuesday.

India took 1-0 led in the T20 series beating Australia by 9 wickets in a rain interrupted match in Ranchi yesterday. Both the sides arrived in the city by a chartered flight and headed straight to the team hotel along with their support staffs and coaches.

A good number of cricket lovers turned up at the airport to see the cricketers of both the teams and security personnel have to spend tough time to move away the buses which were carrying the cricketers.

The secretary of the Assam Cricket Association Pradip Buragohain, who was in the airport to receive the team, said both the teams today skipped their practice session and will arrive in the ground tomorrow. Australia will use the net first and later they would be followed by India.

It may be mentioned here that after a gap of nearly seven years Guwahati will host one intertiol cricket match. Last time an intertiol match held in Guwahati was in 2010 where India face New Zealand in 50 overs game at the Nehru stadium.
