India Calls off Meeting with Pakistan due to the Killing of SPOs by Terrorists in J&K

The killing of the three abducted SPOs in Jammu and Kashmir have led to creating another tension now as the Indian government has called off a meeting scheduled to be held between India and Pakistani foreign ministers. The Indian government has held the Pakistan Prime minister directly responsible for the brutal killing of the policemen in J&K.

Moreover, another issue creating a hurdle in the meeting between the two countries is Pakistan’s proposal talks at the UNGA in Imran Khan’s letter to PM Narendra Modi despite knowing the fact that PM Modi is not in control of Pakistan’s India policy.

These two 'deeply disturbing' factors have led the foreign ministry to call off the dialogue. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, “The latest brutal killings of our security personnel by Pakistan-based entities and the recent release of a series of 20 postage stamps by Pakistan glorifying a terrorist and terrorism confirm that Pakistan will not mend its ways.”

Kumar further adds, “Now, it is obvious that behind Pakistan’s proposal for talks to make a fresh beginning, the evil agenda of Pakistan stands exposed and the true face of Imran Khan has been revealed to the world in his first few months in office.”
