Silchar, May 24: A two-day orientation camp staring from today has been organized for the students of VIII to X standards in the premises of Ramakrish Mission here. Swami Aparokshanda, who has come all the way from Ramakrish Mission of Fiji, which is located at the north-west corner of Australia and New Zealand and who is also the secretary of the Mission, said, “India is a tolerant country. Instead of complaining, we must focus on the positive side of this country.”

Though, India is a vast populated country, it is quite tural that the percentage of portrayal of negative happenings will be more. India is a great country and he believes that it will progress more day-by-day. “I expect a lot from this country.”

Swami Aparokshanda said. Speaking with The Sentinel, he added, “We are living peacefully here and there are many good incidents that takes place every day in India. Good sides must be highlighted. We must concentrate on these issues instead of pondering over trifling matters.”

Swami Aparokshanda said that the rest of the world views India as a great tion. It is improper to generalize any particular incident. “A lot depends upon the role played by the teachers and guardians of the students. If a tion has to develop, it must have proper facilities from spreading education,” Swami Aparokshanda added to say. He told that mere collection of certificates is not a sign of education and knowledge. Common sense should be grown so that it can help a person to lead a good life.
