India lose to Uruguay

New Delhi, Dec 15: The India U-17 football team went down to Uruguay 1-2 in their last match of the round-robin stage match in the Atletico Paraense U-17 Intertiol Tourment. Wednesday’s defeat was India’s third straight defeat in the tourment, according to an All-India Football Federation (AIFF) release here. After conceding two goals on either side of the break, Komal Thatal halved the difference but a gritty Uruguayan defence contained the Indian attackers till the fil whistle. IANS
