GUWAHATI, Dec 6: India had a brilliant day in the Open event of the 1st South Asian Regiol Badminton Tourment at the Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium here on Wedneday. As many as four players advanced into the semifils.

Aryaman Tandon and Arintap Dasguta stole the limelight in the boys’ singles competition, while Akarshi Kashyap and Ashmita Chaliha kept India’s flag flying high in the girls’ singles event.
