India to take on Bangladesh in soccer semis

GUWAHATI, Feb 11; India will take on Bangladesh in 1st semi fil of men’s soccer event in the South Asian Games which will be held at the Indira Gandhi Athletic stadium on Saturday. The other semi fil will be held on the same day and same venue between Maldives and Nepal.

The semi fil line up of the competition was decided today after the end of the last group league match between Bangladesh and Nepal at SAI Sports complex. Bangladesh won the match by 2-1.

India earlier won their last group match against Malidves by 3-2 yesterday to ensure a place in the semi fil.

The match between Bangladesh and India will kick off at 2-00Pm while Maldives will face Nepal in the other semi fil from 7-00PM.
