Indian Icon Award for Maji

Itagar, May 3: Debabrata Maji of Mechanical Engineering Department of North Eastern Regiol Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) has been invited to receive the most coveted and globally reputed prestigious Time India News ‘Indian Icon Award’ for his accomplishments.

This award would be conferred upon Maji in a glittering function to be held at Yashwant Rao Chavan Auditorium, riman Point, Mumbai on June 27 next in presence of most learned and noted persolities, informed a communiqué.

Maji has earlier been conferred with the most prestigious award of Intertiol Scientist of the Year for 2008 by the Intertiol Biographical Centre of Cambridge, England and due to his dedication and achievements in the field of social development he was recognized with Excellence Award for tiol Social Activity too.

He was also honoured with the American Medal of Honour in 2009 which is a twenty-first century tribute of excellence and Man of the Year 2008 for India by the American Biographical Institute, USA and ABI has informed to the White House about Maji’s distinguished honours and recognition.
