Indian Oil Corporation Limited to set up 781 petrol pumps across North East

Dibrugarh: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has floated tenders for 781 petrol pumps across the Northeast, said IOCL's Dibrugarh Retail Sales Area Assistant Manager, Chandrasekhar Buragohain and District Nodal Officer Kaushik Sharmah at a press conference held here on Sunday.

Among those petrol pumps, tenders for a total of 462 will be floated only for Assam. The move is expected to address the problem of rising unemployment of the region, apart from meeting the growing demand for fuel among the public.
