Indian Pangolin rescued in Boko

Boko: Police officials of Boko Police Station led by Officer in-charge of the Boko Police Station, Jogendra Barman, Wildlife Security Department officials and forest officials rescued an Indian Pangolin and nabbed three smugglers.

OC Barman said that market value of the Indian Pangolin was almost Rs 1.5 crore. Wildlife Security Department officials contacted the smugglers as buyer and during the deal, the smugglers were captured with the pangolin. The smugglers are Jordge Basumatari, Judhisthir Boro from Boko and Abdul Khalek from Krishnai, Goalpara district. Khalek is a PWD official. OC Barman also added that they would investigate further.
