TANGLA, April 8: As per the direction of the Ministry of Sports and Youth welfare of the state government, the Udalguri district Sports office organized a day long selection camp of indigenous sports, popular in the Bodo society at the Udalguri HS school play ground on Sunday. A total of  eighteen players in five discipline, nine each from boys and girls were selected in the camp which was iugurated by Assistant commissioner of Udalguri,Lakhyajyoti Duwariya. The games and sports of the indigenous tribes included khwmlaii (a traditiol Bodo wrestling), Bagalorin Bawdi giri ( traditiol egg searching), Dongfwng Mwfaii (traditiol tree felling), Batha (traditiol Tang guti) and Khuntha Gakhwi (climbing of oily pillar).All the eighteen players would be sent to the state level  Indigenous sports competition.
