Indradhanush in 11 districts

Shillong, April 20: Meghalaya will be observing the Special Round of Intensified Mission Indradhanush across all the 11 districts in identified villages only. For this special round, a total number of 1176 villages have been identified which will be covered under this drive. The objective of this round of Intensified Mission Indradhanush is to reach out to the unreached with low immunization coverage and to attain 90% full immunization coverage by December, 2018. This drive will be conducted in three rounds with the first round from April 23to April 27. The National Health Mission and State Health Department, Meghalaya urge all parents of children below 2 years of age and pregnant women who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated to come forward and avail the services especially provided for them. For more information, the Medical Officer or ANM/AWW/ASHA in the village may be contacted or visit be made to a nearby government health center, informed by the Director of Health Services (MCH & FW) cum Joint Mission Director, National Health Mission, Meghalaya, Shillong.
