Infant stabbed, one held in Rangia

Rangia, Jan 29: One Jalaluddin Ali of Kachari Solmari (Chirakhundi) village here was held by Rangia police for allegedly stabbing a two-year old cousin Irfan Ali on Friday at his resident. According to sources Jalaluddin Ali and Azad Ali both the brother started quarrel with each other in the morning and suddenly Jalaluddin stabbed his cousin with a sharp weapon and fled away. After being informed Rangia police rushed to the spot and following a search operation police bbed the culprit. Tension prevailed in and around Chirakhundi for this inhuman incident. The irate public vandalized the house of the culprit. They tried to set ablaze the properties of Jalaluddin but Rangia police including some public somehow prevented the irate people from this destruction. The administration deployed Police personnel at the spot. The child was admitted in GNRC in a critical condition but he was later shifted to GMCH.
