Inter club badminton begins

GUWAHATI, April 6: Anil Goswami Memorial Inter club Badminton championship got under way at the Kaklata Indoor stadium here today. The event is organized by the Gauhati Sports Association and altogether 11 teams are taking part in it. Munin Nobis, the president of the Gauhati Sports Association was the chief guest in the iugural function and he also iugurated the meet. In the iugural game Dymo Club Beat Frontier Club 2-0. Anubhab Kalita put ahead Dymo defeating Kamal yan Medhi (Frontier) in the first singles by 21-6, 21-5. Later Anubhab and Saeed Ali Reja won against Kamal yan and Rohit Ojha (Frontier) 21-3, 21-5 in the doubles  which also ensured victory for Dymo in the game.
