Inter-office Football Tourment concludes

Shillong, April 29: The 6th U Kiang ngbah Memorial Inter Office Football Tourment organized by the Meghalaya State Government Employee’s Federation Sports Committee, Jaintia Hills Unit, Jowai held at Kiang ngbah Stadium, Dongmihsngi, Ladthalaboh, Jowai concluded on the April 29.

In the fil played between the Police Department and the Public Health Engineering Department, the former emerged winner by 2-. The winning goals were scored by Miker Suting and Lammi Passah in 14th and 32nd minutes.

D. P. Kharsati, Additiol Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills gave away the awards and the trophy to the winning team while Shri R. Muthu, Superintendent of Police presented the award and a trophy to the runners-up team.

Lammi Passah and Heimommitre Langbang were declared the top scorer and the best goalkeeper respectively while the Best Player title was bagged by Teibor.
