Interactive session held

KARIMGANJ, June 14: A workshop cum interactive session was organized by Voice of Environment (VoE) for Clean Green Assam Vision emphasised by Environment Education at school and college level within the premises of Public Higher Secondary School, Karimganj, in the august presence of the members of the organization. Rupa Das Purkayastha, Sangha Mitra Chanda, SP Choudhury participated in the inaugural song and recitation. The whole programme was conducted by Sushanta Chakraborty. The principal incharge Hitesh Chandra Sharma welcomed the guests. Chief guest was Dr Bijan Deb who discussed the grim environmental scenario and plastic pollution. The project co-ordinator of VoE SP Choudhury highlighted the effects of plastic pollution on biodiversity, a press release stated.
