Intertiol Nurses Day observed

Golaghat, May 12: The birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, which is observed as Intertiol Nurses Day worldwide, was on Thursday observed in Golaghat. A programme was held on the occasion at Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital in Golaghat. In the programme, Dr Nizra Devi, Dr ST Hussain, Hemo Gogoi and Dr Shreevatasya Gopal Goswami were felicitated. Pari Gogoi explained the significance of the day and about the intertiol theme ‘A force for change: Improving health system resilience’. Dr Srivatasya Gopal Goswami explained the importance of the day and role of nurses in today’s world.
