Irate mob vandalizes car after road accident

Rangia, April 27: Irate people of Rangia Moranja vandalized a four-wheeler which knocked down a child at NH-31 near Rangia Moranja on Wednesday. The Guwahati-bound car dragged the child who was standing near the NH, injuring the boy seriously. The child was shifted to Rangia FRU with the help of local people and later he was shifted to GMCH in a critical condition. The child has been identified as Badiuj Zaman (11) of Rangia Moranja. Following the accident, the irate people of the area vandalized the car. As a result, tension prevailed in that area. After being informed, Rangia Police rushed to the spot and controlled the situation.
