ITF Juniors World Ranking tennis begins today

GUWAHATI, Nov 20: The ITF Juniors World Ranking Tennis Tourment for Boys and Girls U-18 years will start from tomorrow at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Chachal, Guwahati. All the qualifying round matches were completed today. The fils of the tourment will be held on November 25. Parikshit Somani of Assam is the top seed in the Boys Singles event while Shivani Ingle of Maharashtra will be the top seed in the Girls Singles. The doubles matches of the tourment will start from Tuesday.

Girls U-18 qualifying round (Fil):-Vanshita Pathania (Ind) def Aanya Goel (USA)  7-5, 6-7(3), 6-3, Lenien Jamir (Ind) def Vaidehi Rawat (Ind) 6-0, 6-0, Sivanuja Peddada (Ind) def Prera Koirala (NEP) 6-0, 6-3, Ritupar Choudhury (Ind) def Punyatoya Mohapatra (Ind) 6-1, 6-0.
