ITF Men’s Futures Tennis begins

GUWAHATI, Feb 27: Guwahati leg of ITF Men’s Futures Tennis Tourment kicked off at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex here today. Life President of All Assam Tennis Association (AATA) Subhash Chandra Das declared the meet open in the presence of Simanta Thakuria, Commissioner and Secretary, Fince and Pabitra Ram Khound, Director,  Sports and Youth Welfare.

In a brief speech Raktim Saikia, the president of AATA, spelled out his organization’s future plans for the development of tennis in Assam. Later AATA Secretary Ankush Dutta informed the media that all together 12 foreign players are participating in this tourment along with top ranked Indian players led by Sriram Balaji and Vishnu Vardhan.
