JMC student tops in MBBS part- 1 fil exam

JORHAT, February 22: In the just declared MBBS fil part 1 examition held under Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences in December, 2015, Bubu Gogoi from JMC (Jorhat Medical College) has been declared as university topper after securing 77 per cent marks with honours in Ophthalmology, ENT and Community Medicine. Moreover, JMC has also bagged 9 positions out of the first 10 university ranks, besides 24 other students passing out with honours marks. JMCH Public Relations Officer Dr. Nilutpal Bhattacharjee, said, “The overall pass percentage of the students stand at 95 per cent. The result itself is being now considered as an extraordiry fete achieved by the students under the guidance of JMC’s academic fraternity of professors and assistant professors, not to forget the dedication of the students and their keenness towards medical science studies. News of the result has already created an environment of fun and frolic among the students of the college.”
