Jones Mahalia's demise condoled

Guwahati, Feb 6:    Producers’ Council, an organization of Empanneled Private Producers & Directors of Doordarshan in NE India condolence on the death of Noted Filmmaker Jones Mahalia at a local hospital here on yesterday. The eminent filmmaker was among the Advisers of the Producers’ Council at the time of his death. Producers’ Council pays tribute to him and pray the God to take his departed soul into the Heaven. Also the Producers’ Council remembered late Jones Mahalia’s great contributions towards the Assamese Film and his effort to the solidarity of Assamese Film fraternity, stated a press release.
