Jorhat infrastructure development plan mooted

JORHAT, June 17: Jorhat MLA Hitendra th Goswami on Friday organized a joint meeting of all government departments in the district at Jorhat Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall in order to take some new steps for the development of Jorhat. Government officials of department like Public Works Department, Water Resource, Town and country planning, and Jorhat Municipal Board. A core committee was formed under the leadership of Jorhat deputy commissioner in the meeting to prepare a master plan for the development of Jorhat town.  The core committee was also authorized to take required steps for the solution of water logging problem in the town.
