JORHAT, March 23: The workers of the Jorhat Municipal Board today observed general strike here demanding regularization of the jobs of the master role workers, releasing the arrear of the JMB workers and clearing the wages of the laborers. The JMB workers alleged that Jorhat ADC Mukul Lekharu, who looks after the JMB, has not taken any initiative to solve their problems.
