Jorhat win JK Barooah cricket title

GUWAHATI, Sept 26: Jorhat lifted JK Barooah U-19 Inter District Cricket tourment title defeating Silchar by 71 runs in the fil held at Barpeta today. Invited to bat, Jorhat bowled out 141 runs in 42 overs. In reply, a nice spell from Dasarath Kumar (5/13), helped Jorhat to bowl out Silchar paltry 70 runs in 26.3 overs. Dasarath Kumar later adjudged the man of the fil award. On the other hand Partha Pratim Das, also from Jorhat, med for man of the tourment award.
