Jugasankha literary and jourlism awards given away

GUWAHATI, March  23: The Jugasankha Literary and Jourlistic awards were given away at a function today. While the literary ward was given away to writer Anima Guha, the jourlistic award were given away to Nikhil Talukdar of Dainik Jugasankha Imam Uddin Choudhury, bajit Bhagawati of Amar Asom and Mousamjyoti Baishya of The Sentinel. The literary award caries Rs 1 lakh and each of the recipients of the jourlist award will get Rs 25,000. The awards were instituted in memory of Late Bhagirath Baidyath, founder of Jugasankha. Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) president Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bora attended the function as the chief guest and Dr. Jatin Goswami was distinguished guest. Organizing committee president BK th, general secretary Nilutpal Chakravarty, convener Soumen Bharatiya were also present at the function.
