KAAC CEM lays foundation stone for development projects

HAMREN, Nov 25: Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) Chief Executive Member Tuliram Ronghang laid the foundation stone for developments projects under Rongkhang Block on Saturday. CEM Ronghang was accompanied by his wife Kache Teronpi, VDC chairman Ramson Rongpi, chairman of BMCC, Bithung Babusing Timung, Lamp chairman Mongol Bey and BDO Susikanta Timung.

The CEM first laid the foundation stone for the construction of CC Block Pavement Road from Baligoan to Vivekanda Kendra Vidyalay with an estimate of Rs 35 lakh under one-time special grant under Rongkhang block. He also laid the foundation stone for Tumpreng Gondabil to PWD road at an estimate of Rs 40 lakh under Panchayat and Rural Development Department. CEM Ronghang again laid the foundation stone at Artukekang, Dongkamukam for minor irrigation project under MGREGA Scheme 2017-18 and paid a visit to the site at Donkamukam for the construction of power block road.
