KAAC to hold meeting with 24 organizations

HAMREN, April 27: The KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang on Wednesday instructed KAAC Principal Secretary to convene an emergency meeting with all 24 social organizations on April 29 at 11:30 am at the KAAC conference hall, sources said. CEM Ronghang has appealed to all 24 social organizations to call off the bandh so that conducive and peaceful atmosphere could be maintained in the course of discussion.
The 24 organizations had called 53-hour Karbi Anglong bandh demanding electoral reform and making of new rules and acts of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.
