Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha Divas observed

DHEKIAJULI, June 20: The 47th death anniversary of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha  was observed  by different organizations in Dhekiajuli.

The Dhekiajuli Samasti garik Moncha, Sonitpur Dhatri Sewa Samity , Dhekiajuli Sakha Sahitya Sobha and Bahagi Bora Jatiya Bidyalaya observed the day  with different programmes. At the Pratap Kalita Auditorium of Assam Chhah Mazdoor  Sangha, Borsola Branch  Dhekiajuli Samasti garik Moncha and Sonitpur Dhatri Sewa Samity jointly observed the day. In the morning a meeting was held under the president ship of Gokul Bosnet of  Dhekiajuli Samasti garik Moncha. As per schedule of the programme, after offering floral tributes before the portrait of Kalaguru,  several prominent persolities delivered their valuable speech  about the life and achievements of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha.  

Participating in the meeting, Tapan Sen Gupta, the centre-in-charge  and chief  functiory  of Sonitpur Dhatri Sewa Samity  explained the great  works  of the  Kalaguru and his influence in the social, cultural, moral, political and economical  fields of Assam.  In the memorial meeting Shiv Charan Bag, assistant secretary, ACMS, Borsola branch, Aniruddhya Tanti, secretary of All  Assam garik Moncha and Haren Bhowmij, secretary of Dhekiajuli Samasti garik Moncha were present.

Bahagi Bora Jatiya Bidyaloy and Dhekiajuli Sakha Sahitya Sobha jointly observed Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha Divas in the campus of Bahagi Bora Jatiya Bidyaloy. Under the president ship of Ramesh  Bora, who is also the president of Dhekiajuli Sakha Sahitya Sabha,  a memorial function was held in the morning.  Ramesh Borah offered floral tributes before the portrait of the Kalaguru and lit the lamp. In the meeting, Dr Arindam Kumar Deka, lecturer LOKD College, retired teacher Phanindra Kalita, Khagen Bhuyan, Prafulla Das,  Sachindra Baishya  and jourlist Sujit Kataki  were also present.
