Kalaigaon Development Block felicitates MLA Maheswar Boro

KALAIGAON, August 18: The Kalaigaon Develoment Block TCLCC along with Kalaigaon Anchalik Panchayat, felicitated Kalaigaon MLA Maheswar Boro at the premises of the block development office on Thursday.

On the occasion, an open meeting was held which was presided over by Prasan Boro, chairman of Kalaigaon development block TCLCC. BTC speaker Tridip Daimary attended the meeting as chief guest. In his speech he said that the BPF workers must come forward to develop their own area. He again said that the service holders must not be engaged in any kind of contract. He also said that the Food Security card holders whose yearly income was more than Rs 1 lakh must return their cards, otherwise necessary action would be taken against them as per law.

BTC Executive Member Jagadish Sarkar attended the meeting and spoke about how to develop the BTC. MLA Maheswar Boro was felicitated with gamusa, xarai, citation and japi. In his speech he said the people of the constituency must work hard to develop the area.

Dithakada Jazarika, the Circle Officer of Kalaigaon revenue circle was also present in the meeting. Monoj Bania, BDO of Kalaigaon Development Block, explained the objective of the meeting. Kamiram Saharia and Mahendra Hazarika, social workers of Kalaigaon were also present in the meeting.
