Kalita Jagosthi Sanmilan meet from today

TAMULPUR, Jan 28: Preparations are complete for holding the 12th biennial session of the Kalita Jagosthi Sanmilan at Tamulpur under the aegis of the Tamulpur district committee of the organisation. The three-day session will be held from January 29 to 31. On the opening day, the organisation’s flag will be hoisted at 8:00 am, while smriti tarpan will be performed at 8.30 am. A symposium on the topic ‘ST Status, Sixth Schedule and Assam’ will be and it will be iugurated scholar Hemendra Kumar Bhuyan.  On the concluding day, an open meeting will be held.
