Karate meet begins

GUWAHATI, Feb 11: 6th Youth and U-21 State Karate Championship got underway at the DeshbhaktaTarun Ram Phukan indoor Stadium here today. The meet was iugurated by Pabitra Ram Khound, Director, Sports and Youth Welfare. The iugural function was also attended by secretary of the Karate Association of India Bharat Sarma, Joint Secretry of AOA Anup Choudhury and president of UKAA Bhuban Lahkar. 435 players from16 districts are taking part in the meet which will be concluded on Sunday.
