Karate players receive fincial assistance

GUWAHATI, June 18: The United Karate–Do Association, Assam (UKAA) handed over fincial assistance to all the state players who were selected in the Indian squad for various Intertiol karate Championships meet. Hemphu Bongjang, Sarhaan Rasul, Saurav Kumar Gogoi (WKF Youth Cup, Croatia), Enjebee Chakma and Nishad Ali (Asian Junior Karate, Kazakhstan) are the five players from Assam who would represent India in various intertiol karate meets. All five received Rs 10000 each from the UKAA today. On the other hand Jyotirshman Kashyap, who will participate in the World School Games Karate scheduled to be held in New Delhi, handed over fincial assistance of Rs 5000.
