Karate training camp

Biswath Chariali, Feb 13: A three day long Karate training camp commenced today at Chariali HS and MP School premises, here, under the aegis of Tenshinkan Shotokan Association, Assam in association with Biswath District Karate- Do Association. Shihan Hasrat Khan, a 8 th Dan Blach-belt holder from Delhi and Sanjay Sahu, a 4 th Dan Black-belt holder will impart training to the students coming from the different parts of the state. The training programme was iugurated by Apurba Kumar Das, President, Biswath Sports Association and Ravindra Singh, Senior Mager, Sakomatha Tea Estate by lighting the lamp while the iugural programme was conducted by Anjan (Shonti) Borah, President of Biswath District Karate-Do Association. In the iugural speeches, they expressed the hope that such type of trainings would help the young aspirants in this genre of sports. Moon Sharma, Secretary, Biswath District Karate-Do Association offered vote of thanks. AASU Assistant Secretary Duldul Borkataki, social worker Prabhat Borah, Dhulie TE Mager Anjan Goswami etc spoke a few words on the occasion. A good number of multifaceted persolities were also felicitated in the programme by the association.
