Karbi Cultural Society observes 40th foundation day

HAMREN, Jan 30: The Karbi Cultural Society (KCS) observed its 40th foundation day at KCS office campus on Monday at Taralangso, Karbi People Hall, (KPH) Diphu. Chandrasing Kro, president of KCS, presided over the meeting. The Karbi Cultural Society (KCS) was created with the aim and objective to uplift the Karbi traditiol culture under the leadership of Roy Enghi, former chairman of KAAC, and Lunse Timung in 1977. Since it was formed, the KCS has been celebrating the Karbi Youth Festival (KYF) every year.

This year KCS will celebrate the 43rd Karbi Youth Festival (KYF) from February 15 to February 19 at Taralangso Karbi People’s Hall, Diphu.
