Katrina Kaif Is Thankful That Zero Happened, Says She Has Learnt A Lot About Pain, Love And Betrayal

Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif, who is gearing up for the release of her next film with Salman Khan - Bharat, has aforementioned that working on Aanand L Rai’s Zero helped her perceive emotions - both positive and negative - deeply. Zero, that also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, tested to be a box workplace dud and was wide panned by critics.

Speaking to the media in an interview, Katrina said that life has put her on a journey that has put her on unchartered (very surprising paths) territories showing emotion. That has taught her concerning herself. She actually has learned a lot about feeling, pain, love, and betrayal. However, at the same time, she has also gained an understanding of positive things like trust. She actually has begun to see life in a deeper way. And that she had brought all of this to her work. Having that platform and so having fantastic directors as Aanand sir has helped.

“Aanand sir was terribly specific. He was ready to guide me with an emotional scene so fantastically. He would encourage me to achieve deep inside to bring the needed emotions to the fore. In Zero, for me, it was absolutely a world that Aanand sir and that I discussed and discovered so deeply. When I got on set, he pushed and helped me to stay in the zone, which was needed. That's what I might have hoped for. And I am happy that it happened. Such experiences an encouragement from a director have helped me evolve as an actor. I have undoubtedly started to understand more of the craft. Eventually, this can be what every actor want. We all want to perpetually grow at work. And, if someone somewhere makes a note, it makes the whole process worthwhile,” Katrina Kaif Said.

With flops like Thugs of Hindostan and Zero in her recent past, the stakes are high for Katrina with Bharat. However, her films opposite Salman Khan have a history of making it to large box workplace numbers. Except for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat - an official remake of Korean drama An Ode to my Father, Katrina will soon be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi alongside Akshay Kumar and Neena Gupta.
