Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) winner Binita Jain visits DHSK Commerce College

Dibrugarh: Binita Jain, the recent winner of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), the popular game show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, visited DHSK Commerce College, her alma-mater, on Tuesday. The ‘Internal Quality Assurance Cell’(IQAC) and ‘Dharini’, women cell of the college jointly organized a felicitation programme on the occasion.

Delivering her speech, the alumnus of the institution described her journey of life towards success amidst different struggles. The function, which was chaired by Dr. Khanindra Misra Bhagabati, principal of the institution, was also attended by vice principal, Pulin Rajbongshi. Both praised the success of the alumnus of the institution and hoped that she would be able to bring more laurels to the institution as well as the society and country in future. Responding to the queries of HoD, Assamese Department, Nabajyoti Dutta, she expressed her love for social sciences despite being a commerce student. When asked by the students, she also gave a brief account on the selection process of KBC. It would be worth-mentioning that Binita secured the first position in HS Final (Commerce) examinations under AHSEC in 1990.
