Keep Mechukha crime free: So

ITAGAR, Aug 17: Parliamentary Secretary for Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development and Civil Aviation Pasang Dorjee So, who is also the local MLA, today called for concerted efforts by the police, administration, civil society, students and the traders to make picturesque Mechukha valley crime free.

Addressing a coordition meeting on the law and order situation held at Mechukha today at the backdrop of recent murder incident of an assistant teacher of Govt Higher Secondary School, Mechukha, So said that the crime, law and order problems would find no place in the society if the civil society develop a sense of responsibility.

“Crimil doesn’t represent any community, tribe or religion. They are anti-social. We vehemently condemn the inhuman act and the crimil should be apprehended as soon as possible and given exemplary punishment,” said So, while taking serious note of the alleged murder incident.

He appealed the public to be an ear and eye for the police and administration and help them in the investigation. However, he requested everyone to refrain from giving commul colour to the incident. Further he requested the administration and police to expedite the investigation and arrest the culprits. The meeting was attended by the representatives of PRI leaders, traders besides administration and police.
