Kerala Christians celebrate Easter

Thiruvanthapuram, April 1: Christians across Kerala celebrated Easter on Sunday to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after he was crucified. The people attended the Easter mass where they drank wine and ate a slice of cake marking the end of Lent. A traditiol Easter breakfast was prepared in Christian households which has dishes like ‘appam’, chicken stew, beef roast, duck curry, steamed bas, egg curry and cake. (IANS)
