Keshab Mahanta remembered

MAHMORA, April 10: The Sivasagar Zila Xahitya Xabha in collaboration with Maibela Shakha Xahitya Xabha on the occasion of the death anniversary of eminent poet , lyricist Keshab Mahanta organized a semir on the topic 'Consciousness of People's Liberation in the Songs of Keshab Mahanta' at Jnyanjyoti Library at Maibela here recently. The semir was iugurated by writer Rati Prabha Gogoi. Imran Shah, former president of Axom Xahitya Xabha , attended as the chief guest in the semir.  He also released two books-Chiriyakhar Alohi (children play) by Girindra th Deka and Hiyar Anubhab (collection of poems)  by Niharika Saikia besides Samadal , a yearly jourl of Maibela Shakha Xahitya Xabha , in the programme. Bulan Gogoi, secretary of Shakha Xahitya Xabha offered the vote of thanks at the end of the programme.
