Khandu assures fund for civil termil at Pasighat ALG

Itagar, Feb 17: Aruchal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday inspected the provisiol civil termil site, adjacent to Pasighat ALG and assured to grant required amount at the earliest to make the existing civil supplies and transport (CST) building operatiol for air services. Submitting a status report on the proposed provisiol civil termil and a copy of estimate for renovation of the existing CST building, Pasighat MLA Kaling Moyong and Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak apprised Khandu of the need to equip the CST building with minimal civic amenities to make it fully functiol, as suggested by the Air India officials during their recent visit, an official report informed here today. The duo further informed the chief minister that Regiol Coorditor (Kolkata) of Air India, T K Saha and ADCA (T), Civil Aviation, harlagun, R N Pathak had visited the site on January 11 last and advised to develop the existing building infrastructure to start ATR-42 service immediately between Guwahati to Pasighat. Accordingly, the district administration has forwarded the estimate amounting to rupees one crore and sixty lakhs to the government for approval, they added.

Deputy Chief Minister Chow Mein, BJP state President Tapir Gao, Minister Industries Tamiyo Taga, Parliamentary Secretaries Tatung Jamoh, P D So and Phurpa Tsering, MLAs Moyong and Olom Panyang, Commissioner (PWD) Hage Khoda and Chief Engineer PWD (Central Zone-B) ni Tatung, DC Tamiyo Tatak, SP Prav Tayal, PMC Chief Councilor Kaling Doruk and host of government officials accompanied Khandu during his visit to the provisiol civil termil site, the report added.
