Khumtai Bhogali Bihu Utsav from January 11

GOLAGHAT, Jan 8: The 3rd Brihottar Khumtai Bhogali Bihu Utsav is going to be organized here with a five-day programme from January 11.  An organizing committee headed by State Cultural Affairs, Handloom Textiles & Sericulture minister Bishmita Gogoi has been formed for this purpose. Various programmes including Bhogali gate iuguration, Bhogali flag hoisting, plantation of saplings, SHG Mela cum exhibition, competition of traditiol games, folk dances, open meeting & cultural night will mark the festival. This was stated by the organizers.
