Kidpped engineer shifted to B'desh

SHILLONG, May 6: Besides asking for a ransom of Rs 16 lakh, suspected GNLA militants who have abducted junior engineer Alladin Sangma have shifted him to a nearby Bangladesh village located in Myemensingh district.

The village is a Garo inhabited areas along the fringes of South Garo Hills and Myemensingh district. Police refused to speak on the kidppers’ demand for ransom from the family members. The family members could not be contacted.

Meanwhile the family members, relatives, friends , well wishers of Allaudin M Sangma, Junior Engineer, Border Areas Development, Baghmara, appealed to the abductors for safe and unconditiol release on humanitarian grounds.
