Kimunyong Open Taekwondo from March 29

GUWAHATI: Kimunyong Open Taekwondo Championship would be held in the city from March 29. Around 1,200 participants from the different States are expected to take part in the championship. Addressing a media gathering, the president of the organizing committee H Dohling on Wednesday said that apart from India, a team from Nepal is also expected to participate in the 3-day championship. The meet would be held on four categories – cadet, sub junior, junior and senior. The media briefing was also attended by the president of the Kimunyong World tournament committee (Indian chapter) Raj Kakoti.
