Kipa Solomon wins AGT trophy

Itagar, March 23: Kipa Solomon 7 year old from Kurung Kumey district clinched away the first ever Aruchal Got Talent with a cash prize of rupees one lakh along with a trophy for his unbeatable performances. Out of the ten candidates who made it to the grand file, G7 Loyal Group of Itagar and Chumya Mudo of Lower Subansiri district were adjudged as first and second runners up with cash prizes of seventy thousand and forty thousand rupees along with trophies respectively. With the declaration of the winner, the First ever Aruchal Got Talent concluded at Indira Gandhi Park Itagar on March 21 last in a glittering way. Attending the grand file of the maiden AGT as chief guest minister for Tourism Art & Culture, Pema Khandu stated that AGT should be organized in a bigger approach to promote young talents of the state. Comparing the quota system for meritorious sportspersons of the state in government jobs Khandu opined that all other talents should also be given its due recognition. The maiden talent hunt started its journey on December 21 last, looking for hidden talents in various districts of the state. Altogether 604 candidates were enrolled in the race of the crown. Initiative of one Hillang Nima, AGT was supported by its patrons, advisors and judges from the state as well as outside the state.
