KJCEU holds its 58th Annual Convention

SHILLONG, Jan 23: The Khasi Jaintia Christian Endeavour Union (K.J.C.E.U.), an umbrella of the Christian Endeavour Society and Christian Endeavour Unions, within the Presbyterian Church in Khasi and Jaintia Hills, hold its 58th Annual Convention at the Mukhla C.E. Society, Mukhla Presbyterian Church, from 20th to 22nd January 2017. In its General Meeting held on the 21st January, which coincide with Meghalaya Day, the Union, Unimously Resolved to issue a Statement to express its sincere anguish and concern as a form of Protest over the rising crimes and other atrocities meted out to innocent women and children in these days.

The K.J.C.E.Union wishes that the Law will take its course and Justice will prevail. The K.J.C.E.Union also prays for the victims and their family that the Almighty God will give them healing, peace and strength to overcome these ordeals that they have to go through.
