KLO rebel bbed

DHUBRI , May 2:  Army and police in  a joint operation apprehended a suspected Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) rebel from Ratiadah area under Golakganja police station in Dhubri district last night. The detained rebel has been identified as Monoranjan Rai (32). Army sources said acting on an intelligence input , a team of Army and police launched an operation at Ratiadah area and arrested the KLO rebel. A pistol and two rounds of live ammunition were found on him. The detained KLO rebel, who hails from Khuamari village under Kajigaon police station in Kokrajhar district , has been handed over to Golakganj police today.
