KMSS dhar at Tamulpur

TAMALPUR, Feb 27: Tamulpur Anchalik Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti on Monday staged a dhar in front of the sub-divisiol office of electricity.

A rally was taken out with more than 100 activists of KMSS Tamulpur Anchalik Samiti to the office of the Sub-Divisiol Officer, electricity. They demanded stopping the wrong billing system, putting an end to the alleged broker system in the office, and proper power supply.

They alleged that the electricity department was harassing consumers by sending exorbitant bills. The KMSS Tamulpur Anchalik Samiti also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the SDO of Tamulpur subdivision (electricity), Diganta Deka who promised to resolve all the problems gradually with the help of public.
