KMSS stages protest in Demow

DEMOW, February 8: The Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), Demow Regiol Committee staged a demonstration on Monday in Demow Circle Office in protest against alleged scams in various departments under Demow Circle Office. Regarding the same issue KMSS Demow Regiol Committee had taken out a protest on August 31 last year and also submitted memorandum under the presence of the officials of various departments where they mentioned about various problems of the people and their demands. The Demow Circle Officer had allegedly assured that their problems would be solved but till date no steps have been taken.  The protesters submitted a memorandum to the Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner through the Demow Circle Officer. In the memorandum they demanded that within one month all the demands which have been mentioned in the memorandum should be fulfilled. The protest was led by Joyjyoti Konwar, president and Sanjay Prasad Sah, secretary of Demow Regiol Committee.
