From our Correspondent
LBARI, May 3: lbari district was the most backward district in Assam, alleged Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) lbari district president and Jnen Chakrabarti and Dimbeswar Kalita respectively, in a press release. They expressed serious concern over the pitiable condition of the district. They rued the fact that around 15,000 people in the district did not have land patta, agricultural land had been occupied by mafia, some rivers did not have embankments and there was unemployment. The district, they alleged, was also plagued by other problems like irregular power supply and corruption in many offices.
