KNLA ultra held

DIPHU,  July 17: Acting on a specific information a team of  led by  nda Singh , Additiol S.P, Diphu launched an operation  at  Tissom Gaon  here and apprehended  a Karbi tiol Liberation Army (KNLA) rebel  from the village. The police also recovered  one 7.65 pistol and  five live ammunitions from his possession. Talking to this correspondent over phone ASP  nda Singh said, “We had got the information  that    KNLA extremist are on an extortion drive  and we raided in the area  for two days  and when a group of three  KNLA ultras  came to the village for extortion we apprehended one of them while two  of them maged to escape from the spot.”
